This is a good plane to learn on although it must be flown in zero wind. It is underpowered so care must be taken to gain altitude before attempting any tight turns.

This is the best plane ever.If you are looking for a plane that is easy to fly,and does not brake easy this is the one. This plane actually does what they say it will do.

Avoid this plane. Although the kit is well packaged, with good instructions, nice CD and easy assembly, as a flier it is under powered, the radio controller is no better than a $10.00 Radio Shack toy car, and the electronics quality and design are poor. I purchased two planes for use with my nephew. I tested the first plane; right out of the box the power/motor control on the radio only worked intermittently- it pulsed on and off. You need the motor constantly on to launch and climb to altitude. I did get the plane up, and then found it would only turn left. Examination showed that the servo to the rudder only extended fully in one direction. The second plane flew ok once, but did a nose dive every subsequent flight. The center of gravity is now off; the body of the plane is sealed so this will be hard to adjust. A very frustrating experience overall. For the record, we tried this plane under ideal conditions: 85 degrees F., high humidity, ZERO wind speed, multiple fully charged battery packs, in a four acre cow pasture. With a stronger motor and greater attention to quality control, this could be a great starter plane.

I always wanted to fly and R/C plane and had gotten other brand ones and they all crashed. Then I got Megatech's Cosmic Flyer for my birthday. First flight it flew almost as high as the clouds and it is so strong too. I love my Cosmic Flyer!
