An Electronic Easel
The Crayola Color Explosion Glow Board offers a unique way for kids to display their art, as it lights up drawings much like a neon sign. It incorporates several violet lights under the drawing surface. When lit, these lights cause the ink to take on a vivid, striking glow. The board's surface is reusable -- ink erases in an instant -- making it good for hours of fun at a time. Children can easily display their artwork by using the easel back to prop the board in place. And the board's two separate drawing layers give kids even more room to doodle. Using the glow board's controls, kids can choose to display one layer, or flash between both for an exciting billboard-like effect.

The glow board's markers come in six dazzling neon colors -- red, blue, yellow, green, orange, and pink. Rating: - Very clumsy and hard to clean!
I bought this for my six year old son for Xmas. I was sure he would love it, I loved it just from looking at the box, but after opening it, I would call it a major let down. It is a very clumsy toy, when you have to remove the inside screen, it scratches VERY easily and is a pain to remove and put back in. Rating: - Wish I could find the markers!
We bought the Crayola Explosion Glow Board this past weekend. My daughter used her Christmas money to purchase this from Walmart for 20 bucks. After we figured out how to play with it, it was much fun! I had just as much fun as my 6 year old! I would leave her a message and color over it with a heart on the top board.

Rating: - Short term fun
This is a fun idea but poorly executed. The board scratches easily but requires a firm scrub to clean. The markers have dried out already and we've had it 4 days. They do make special cleaning rags for it. My kids 6, 4 and 2 enjoyed it but were irritated at the cleaning process so they would only play with it shortly. Not something i would pay over twenty dollars for. We bought it on clearance at fourteen ninty five.

Rating: - Needs a bit of work, but is neat
I just want to agree with a few others regarding this toy. First it is a pain to clean over and over withouth causing damage. The markers dry out faster than you can get the cap back on. The back plastic screen took so much wrangling to even get it to work was a nightmare. It did not line up correctly. Rating: - A big disappointment
The Crayola color explosion glowboard seemed to have potential and for 15 minutes, my granddaughter enjoyed playing it with her mother's direction and supervision. We were surprised when it quit working the very evening she opened it and decided the batteries were old. Upon replacing the batteries with new ones, it was still non-functional. I'm really sorry I ordered this for our granddaughter's Christmas.
